Newborn chick with something hanging out of butt

Little Selena was hatcheda few hours ago with this brownish thing/ sac hanging out from her butt...I enclosed pics..there are eggshells attached to it...please tell me what it is & if I have to separate her from her siblings?

Do you think it could be that some poop got stuck to her butt? It doesn't look like an umbilical cord to me, but I would wait until someone more knowledgeable can reply before you do anything with it. If you accidentally pull off their umbilical cord they can die.

If the other chicks are leaving her alone I wouldn't worry, but if you see some of them pecking at it I would put in a barrier that they are able to see through to divide her off.

Could be some unabsorbed yolk. It should dry up and fall off. If it becomes an issue, then once it's completely dried up you can snip it off with a small pair of scissors, but make sure it's completely dried, and leave a small bit near the chick to make sure you don't pull on it or cut the chick. If the chick is acting normally, it's likely not a worry.

For a just hatched chick: It looks like poop. You can try soaking it with a paper towel using warm water for a minute or so and it should start to fall apart. If it doesnt start to fall apart, leave it be. Under no circumstances dont try pulling it out nor smashing it with your fingers in order to remove it.

Ok,it is drying up, but still looks weird after 5 hours of hatching

Yep, just do what the folks above said. If you see chicks picking at it you can separate them, but if they all just hatched it is unlikely.
