:-)

GREAT JOB!!!

OHHH! He's adorable! My 'baby' Trixxie just had her second litter about a week and a half ago. We've never had any gray/white kittens, though. So CUTE! Are his eyes open yet? Is it a boy or a girl?

He is still doing well as far as I can tell I hope we got past the hard part. His toes do look so strange I guess I never really paid attention to the others I had but I just expected them to be like the older cats. I have been adding a little activia yougurt to his milk replacer and he seems to be doing well on his new milk. His eyes are still closed his umbillical cord just fell off yesterday so I think I read that it usually happens on the 5-7 days? Im not totally sure just how old he is I keep saying he I am not sure if it is a male of female yet either I could never tell with the other ones untill they got older I hope it is a male b/c we will need to go to the vet to get fixed when old enough and it is alot cheaper for the boys.

ok this is so funny.....

on Day 5 of life my baby came with me on the plane from Ohio to Seattle!

i asked the vet if i could take her on the airplane - of course traveling with a baby isnt the best idea - but as he said, 'its better then letting her die in the shed'...so she became my traveling girl. i had to go and didnt really have a choice - it was hilarious. of course she wasnt loud and no trouble at all.

the funniest thing was going thru security. the security guy was this huge angry man and demanded, loudly, that i 'remove the animal from the cage and put the carrier thru the xray'

so i pulled out this tiny 5 day old callie -- and he just turned to blubber and swooned - i mean he SWOONED over how cute she was. it totally broke the tension and everyone laughed - and thats when i got swarmed by tons of people asking questions and oooh-ing and aaahing about her. my new entourage and i moved on and we kept everyone entertained until our flight left. it was very cute.

so i was like a rock star going thru the airport and on the plane! everyone wanted to see her. when i had to feed her (had to keep the schedule!) people swarmed all around. it was very very funny. she was with me for the 10 days i was there and had her eyes wide open by the time we got home.

of course now she is such a spoiled girl - we just love her. my husband, a big ol' redneck, baby talks to her still. its very very funny

:-)

That is great about your kitten and funny about the security guy. Hopefully we will have understanding people at the hotel and it will work out I read on the website for the hotel it says no pets so maybe if he is quite while going in they wont even know he is there. My father said he would carry him in a carrying bag and if he starts meowing he would start meowing too I told him people gonna think he is crazy.
