Newborn kitten

May I ask how you're feeding? Syringe/bottle? The bubbling has me very concerned as the most common ailment with hand raised babies of any species is aspiration pneumonia. It's very easy to let them drink to fast or to much, or hold incorrectly while feeding and allow liquid into their lungs.

It's great you rescued this little one, but it needs to go to a rescue or vet ASAP. Illness in kittens this small can be fatal very fast. Even if you cannot pay, you can surrender it to the vet staff and they can find a foster and get it care.

Best of luck to you and this little one.

I’ve tried both bottle and syringe, it takes better to the syringe than the bottle. I feed the kitten on its stomach like they drink from their mother.

Baby kittens need to be kept warm, there body temperature is higher than a humans. If you have a heat pad or something similar lay him on top of it or cuddled up to it, an alternative i have used is a bottle filled with boiled water under a blanket and then laid them up against it. Once his temperature is up, he will be more interested in feeding when they are cold they wont eat much. If you can try and get up to 10 - 15mls in him over 24 hours and then increase the amount as he ages, if he takes less at the moment it is ok as long as he takes something, his appetite will increase as he warms up. He will need feeding between every 3-4 hours including through the night and after a feed he will need burping like with a little baby, tap his back very gently over your shoulder and you will hear when he has done it, and help to go to the toilet. He might not poop yet if he hasnt taken much milk but on average they should go at least once a day once he starts to feed. Hope this helps. I have rescued quite a few abandoned and very sick baby kittens and this is what i did. Good luck.
