newborn mandarin duckling will not open it's eyes please help!

I would put a towel over them for now. You don't want her ripping her navel open on them.

That looks pretty good. Poor girl. Can you try to gently fluff her up some more?

she is starting to move around but still will not open her eyes. She also is keeping her head tucked into her body (like in the picture) you are supposed to drop mandarin ducklings into water to stimulate them and encourage them to eat, so maybe i need to that?

She's too weak for that at the moment.
The head thing is strange. She might have been malpositioned in her egg, and gotten it stuck in a weird position.
