Frankie started having her pups last night at 2:19.... I really need some sleep now.

Its looked that way for two hours now. Maybe they need a bigger space so she can lay out on her side and we can see the pups better.

Only thought I was going to sleep. Logging companys brush fire jumped an blew threw my property. I got a lot of junk I needed to get rid of that I dont anymore but I lost some good stuff to. Ga forestry dozered my fence in to places to....

I've been trying to have someone watching her but yea that bed is to small. But that is where she picked to have them. I have a real big dog bed in the washer now to see if she will let me swap. I also have to go see if anyone has any wading pools around still. The one I have been using is cracked.

She looks happy. How many did she have? Also, how does black/fawn genetics work? Which one is dominant?

She had 5.
She had 3 black ones. A boy an 2 girls.
An she had one of each fawn.

Black is dominant. If the pup gets one black gene then it will be black.
She has 2 fawn genes (of course she is fawn.)
My male dog that I used is black but with only one black gene an one fawn gene so they produce about 50/50.

I do get a kick out of breeders that talk about how rare blacks are. Its dominant so its not rare.
