I agree, I would get him hydrated and observe for the night. If he's doing ok in the morning, then try putting him back, but watch that the others don't pick on him.
Original Neosporin can be put in the eye if there's damage, just rinse the eye with saline first.
I would not give medications at this point. I know most don't agree and that's fine, but a sore bird will limit their activity.
