newly hatched from incubator chick won't stand up

chick hatched this morning from incubator, its unable to stand up, it pushs him self and it goes backward. Any answers on why it could of happened? Any way I can fix his legs? Thank you.

Could have been an incubation issue that interfered with development, or a genetic issue, or it could have a disease that was passed on from its parents. Hard to really say.

If you think it is a leg problem you can try to make splints out of something and see if that helps. Coming out of the egg like that does not bode well and this bird may need to be culled.
