it has been 48 hours since an assisted hatch of a turkey egg I bought online. It was "shrink wrapped" to the internal membrane but only assisted by removing some of the egg shell and moistening the membrane with h2O. Chick came out on it's own. I thought had the 'flop on the back' syndrome. I made a sock tube to help it sit upright, let it out frequently to wobble about it cannot seem to get his feet under it and cannot stand. Doesn't flip anymore just staggers about. Attempting food and water by syringe with minimal intake. Advice?

Make some wet mash and see if he'll eat a bit. Could also try some raw egg yolk. I'd give some Nutridrench water (you can mix it in the mash water too). If he's really stubborn you could try syringe feeding.

OK thanks I did just put some slurry of chick started in his mouth and he swallowed. The cup I tried was too large and will have to find something that supports him upright with his feet just touching the ground. Very frustrating! I really need this chick to survive for the genetic diversity he/she will bring to my flock.

It has been proven that they get more value out of cooked eggs than they do from raw eggs. The egg white has just as much protein as the egg yolk so there is no reason to only feed the yolk. The preferable method is to hard boil the egg and then crumble the white and yolk after removing the shell.
