I got hatching eggs in the mail today and put them in the bator about 40 minutes ago ( I waited 8 hours before setting them ) I just checked the eggs and several seemed to be sweating. On further investigation it's a sticky substance in little droplets over the eggs.

Please can someone tell me what I need to do?

Yes they sat at room temperature for just over 8 hours, in an egg carton with the pointy end down. 2 other eggs seem to have developed cracks since going into the bator. Large enough that I don't think I would have missed it when putting them in.

Shoot, I hope this is not the case, but is there a chance that the eggs are no good. I have read on this site that a weeping egg can turn into an exploding egg.

By the way, I 'm not trying to freak you out, hopefully someone else has more options.

Thanks Josie. I'm not freaking (yet) but wanted to get help and if need be get these out of the bator before they affect the other eggs.
