I've done that a few times myself. Now I make sure I lightly touch the side of it before heading out the door to work.

Funny, I've discovered that's true of several items around the house....

Like turning ON the iron, coming back, always in a hurry and forgot to plug the dang thing in . . .put fresh beans on two weeks ago, let them cook for four hours before I realized it hadn't been plugged in . . .glad to know someone else has the same problem!!!

It's just a reeeeaaaallllyyyy slow cooker if you don't plug it in.

Do you also walk into doors because you think they're going to open automatically?

Nope haven't gone that far over the edge yet. Tripped over my own two feet once already today though.

It's ok, sweetie. I've been known to put the milk in the kitchen cupboard and the cereal in the fridge (and not discovered it for many hours).

Chalk it up to "one of THOSE days" and know that you've given us a good chuckle to brighten our days.
