My husband is building our coop and we will have inside nest boxes. I have the idea of putting plastic kitty litter boxes of some sort of plastic structure inside the boxes, to make it easier to remove and clean them. Is this a good or bad idea??????

I've read 12" x 12" x 12" up to 16" x 16" x 16".

These were 12 X 12 and were mounted on the outside, BUT, we did not make the roof, liftable for eggs, yet... due to the weight of the liftable roof, G.kids and critters...
