There are 10 Icelandic eggs due around the 16th. Six OEGB eggs due around the 19th. 12 guinea eggs around the 26th. I might be incubating more turkey and duck eggs too. Two of my four Icelandic hens are back from being broody. Hopefully in six weeks my Coturnix will be laying. (SO many colors!! )

Oh, Im not incubating for myself right now, but for relatives and friends. I have Icelandics, people are wanting hatching eggs or for me to incubate chicks. I did incubate Coturnix for myself and aunt. I might keep a couple ducks. I just enjoy INCUBATING!:)

oh ok that makes more sense! Yeah you have to keep a few :celebrate

I candled the Icelandic eggs from my fertility test hatch today and they are developing. I will candle the OEGB and guinea eggs the end of the week, just so I can be quite sure what I am looking at. No ducks or turkeys in yet.

Looks like I will be starting the duck eggs on tues or wed so if I am counting right, hatch date would be July 4 or 5. I also MAY be starting some Hedemoras within a couple weeks if I can meet up with the person that has them. No turkeys from my cousin yet. AGAIN these are mostly incubated for friends and relatives farms. The Hedemoras would be for me, besides my Icelandics they are one of the landraces I greatly want to try. :)
