I'm fostering (and probably stealing lol) a hen I noticed suffering at a client's house. She's already doing much better after some rest and time to herself, but I'm new to chicken ailments and want to be as concise with treatment as possible.

NF mites: severe infestation. The bottom of the bathtub looks like I spilled pepper and there are thousands still on Poor Chicken. I've got the room sealed but will need to disinfect.

Sandy crop: It's down in size and isn't hot to the touch anymore, still hanging and full of dirt.

Mashed foot: I made her a boot and it works Kind Of. I probably need a manufactured one.

Eating and drinking: yes. She currently has access to water but not food.

Poop: Mud. Actual wet soil mud.

Hi,

You'll need to pick up some permetherin/garden powder and dust her well. She'll need this done again in 10 days to kill any eggs that hatched. I'd do your bathroom too.

Do you have chicken feed for her? If not, I'd get some layer feed or all-flock, and some vitamins like Poultry Cell for her water. Mites take a lot out of a chicken. Plus, it'll help her foot heal too.

You're sounding like she might have crop issues? If so, here's the two best articles about crop issues:

She got a good dusting and is doing SO much better. I needed a reason to deep clean my bathroom but parasites weren't on top of the list 🤢

She's been eating flock starter, some scrambled eggs and I cleaned some grit from an ant mound that she's been putting to good use. Thank you for the vitamin suggestion, I always forget to take mine, too 🥴 her crop is doing loads better, it went from softball sized to golf ball since Saturday and she's starting to pass real feces instead of mud. Thank you so much for the reply, Chicken and I appreciate it!
