How long to you have to wait to eat eggs after debugging with 7?

7 to 14 days. depends on how fast it getsout of the nest boxes and off the birds.

Ok, unless I missed something important, like a type of rabbit named cochin, I am confused by the description of this chicken? A white cochin with blue eyes and calico markings? Oh my! Where do I get one!!

Yep. Gypsy is probably right. Dad is a Grey Pearl and mom is a Royal Purple. And no I can not sex them till they have their wattles, definately not in the egg, hee hee.

Yep. Gypsy is probably right. Dad is a Grey Pearl and mom is a Royal Purple. And no I can not sex them till they have their wattles, definately not in the egg, hee hee.

Listening to them , so I am told is an indicator of which sex is which. hens make a 2 sylable sound and cocks make a one sylable sound, ok if thats perfectly true
then both are <GASP> HENS!!

well came home to last night to 5 new chicks.
1 white showgirl
2 barred plymouth rocks
1 friizle polish that looks like Elvis
and 1 phoenix cross sumatra, looks just like my sumatra.

they all sooooo cute.

Yes, it is me. I have six 6wk old Guinea keets left. You are right the hens make a, as the old timers call it a "buck-wheat, buck-wheat" kind of sound, but the little she devils can also trick you because they can imitate the male sound as well.
