That's a good idea. I always did good on yardsales on the holidays because like you said people look for things to do on holidays.
I hope you can make it to the Candia swap.

Lisa, i think on the Predator and Pest thread here on BYC they saqid 10 days. If you go to that thread there is a lady that is very knowledgable with the whole "pest" control and has a thread devoted to it. i will try and find her link for you. I found it very interesting for the Pour On.

Ok, unless I missed something important, like a type of rabbit named cochin, I am confused by the description of this chicken? A white cochin with blue eyes and calico markings? Oh my! Where do I get one!!

A~

Ok everyone, I guess I was really hoping for a response on this question?

Could someone clarify this?

Thank you
A~

chickens and ducks can have blue eyes, its a recessive gene that creates the color, in absence of the gene the eyes will be either brown or green.
Same with rabbits it is a reccessive gene and when matched up correctly can and will create brown, blue, green, lavender and low and behold RED.
Chicken genetics and rabbit centics are very similar only modifiers and extentions are different.

ETA: Calico can be anything like blotchy colors, blocks of color or strips of colors usually on a white or black back ground.

Calico in a rabbit is generally known as a Harliquin or Tri which is a broken (calico) Harliquin,
how complicated would you like me to exolain this?

Darleen can you post a picture of this chicken so A can see it thanks if you cant send it to me via email and I will post it,

Darlene bought the cutest little Cochin chick. She's white with a couple black and orange spots so we called her a Calico like a cat because of the colors. The chick also has beautiful blue eyes. I bought one just like it and when she grows up I'm going to Breed her to the very light blue splash, looks like lavender roo that I bought also. Their Standard Cochin's and I'm hoping they will be humungus
