Heather, save me the red frizzle

Janet...stay away from the frizzle...remember...downsizing! HA HA HA...you know it is impossible!

but I sold the red one I had yesterday and I am having seperation anxiety.

We will be at this one, as it is right up the road from us! We can actually sleep in past 5 am!

Also, Keep your eyes open, I am submitting an article to the regional newspapers, and the Foster Daily regarding our little endeavors, kind of a soft advertising piece. And I apologize now, for any paraphrasing, or incorrect statements! I have been gathering info at the last couple swaps, but my 'sources' have ben restricted to the people present, and I missed a couple swaps! Sooo, please accept the article as it is intended, as a source of free advertising, and attention for all us 'vendors'!

I will be bringing a small selection of chicks, some black frizzles, buff and white silkies, a pair of lakenvelder hens, some clifornia leghorns, white rocks, and some nice big silver laced cochin pullets, about 16 weeks old!

This is a nice location for a mid day swap, tho there isnt much shade, we are all on nice thick lush GRASS! The bunnies in wire bottom cages will love it!

See you all then!
A~

ALSO forgot to add that I will have BLUEBERRY jam and maybe some other homemade creations that I have canned available! Not sure of prices yet though..... in need of help in that area.

itsmyaddiction, i've been able to sell mine at the flea market we go to for the 4 oz jars at $2.50. 8 oz at $5. and the only 12 oz i have is the orange marmalade at the moment. but then again, we are selling them down near the York Beach area and hitting up a lot of tourists.

but i've also been doing a deal with my repeat customers if they bring back my jars, i give a discount on the next jar since the cost for them new is almost 55 cents each.

i may come down on my prices for this though. i'll match your price if you are bringing jams and jellies too. that way no competition for who is cheaper.

are your blue berries from Maine or are they the cultivated?

i have yet to hatch any that are full silkies. i love my crosses and would love to get a full breed to give my flock some fluff! (i think i may keep my Curly Joe and his sister-Star after all.)
