NHR and RIR question

I bought my first NHR pullets, Caramel and Rusty, as chicks in November 2019. I was very pleased to see that they turned out much LIGHTER than all of the online pictures. They also both have green eyes. However, I bought another NHR, Pumpkin, in September 2020, and she is more of a scarlet color with orange eyes. So is my little PR pullet, Cinnamon. Do Rusty and Caramel have a lack of Melanin, or was the breed lighter back then? I'm definitely not complaining about them, though Thank you for any help you're able to give.

I don’t know much about breeds of chicken hopefully somebody who knows more comes. Where did you get them from?
