I have a 5-6 week old pekin duck with what appears to be a niacin deficiency( according to what I've googled) I purchased durvet vitamins and electrolytes and started adding the recommended dosage to the water, I am wondering if I need to give more than recommended as a boost, start brewers yeast instead or if the combination of the vitamins and brewers yeast is safe. I am a first time duck mom and worried about this baby.

For the durvet vitamins I found it is easier to make a mesh out of their food. I would do warm water mix the 1ml per duckling into the water. Then add in their crumble. Make sure it’s soupy. I like doing that instead of being in water because they would only get about a 3rd of the dose. Wear as with the soupy mesh they will get almost all of it.

Can you post a picture of what you have? Does it look like this? That won't work very well, you need Cattle B complex Injectable Durvet

That makes much more sense, I will give it a try, thank you!

Ducklings need 100 Mgs of niacin each daily. This liquid b will say injectable but just peel off the foil and use a dropper or 1 ml syringe with out needle to suck it out.
