(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
My partner and I got our first 6 chicks this year in April! We lost one within a few days, and then a pullet to Mareks about a month ago. She was supposed to be vaccinated, RIP Nicki!

Blue Hamburg, Barnevelder and 2 Easter Eggers

My friend who also has chickens told me
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I work in games and am an artist in a number of media (digital, watercolor, fiber...I get around!)
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I live in a house north of Seattle with my partner and another roommate. We are debating on moving away from the city, it's getting too crowded and we want to get some more chickens!
