Nicest banty breed- EVER?

I have a five year old so temperment is very important to us. I would recomend either cochins or silkies. However, the amount that they are handled young makes a huge difference. Our tamest chicken is Rose a new hampshire. We were told she was a banty and my daughter carried her everywhere now she is an 8 lb lap bird.

They think they'll go with Cochins. They think cochins are fluff balls...
They didnt want silkies since I already have them.
Of course, my silkies are still afraid of me........
One even bites a slight bit if you hold her for to long. But it doesnt hurt...

My Sebrights are also gentle and, if given love and treats, they will be great lap chickens

I have Silkies, Booted Belgian mille fleur, and Dutch; most of the Silkies are friendly enough but my Booted Belgian mille fleur and my Dutch are the sweetest and most gentle.

My favorites are the d'uccles and the silkies. Bantam cochins are okay too, but the roos can be a bit rowdy (same as d'uccles roos for that matter). But I have several different kinds of bantams, and all the hens are nice. Some are more so than others, but none of the hens are mean. Only 1 of my bantam roos is (sort of), and he only is like this towards my 4 year old son. But my son instigates it, and the roo chases him all over the yard with my son laughing his little head off
