You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers!

A couple years ago, a family friend was in a motorcycle accident (truck pulled out of the parking lot in front of him). He was air lifted to the hospital, in a coma for 3 weeks, brain swelling, internal injuries (including internal bleeding), broken ribs, shattered legs and who knows what else was broken and/or injured in some way. Today, he is normal, going to college and hoping to someday join the highway patrol. Just thought I would share for some words of hope. Of course, there are some personality difference due to the significant brain injury (as well as some memory loss), but that is minor compared to the alternatives!

not much..but for us it really is....brain swelling is slowly comin down. and today she was coughing. for us is meaning their is hope. that GOD is listening & hearing our prayers. will be a very long rough road...but is soooo worth it.

thats awesome... every little thing she does is a major step forward. Still praying

update ** surgery on alexas arm few days past...she has been battling very high temps/ fever & elevated heart rate. today news is fever undercontrol..... i know not damage to brain, drs have a coma scale to determine how severe damage is., & possible outcome. i havent had courage to ask her mom drs results. ..but i still believe in hope & power of prayer... our brains are such a mystery..vast unknown about them....her body is healing, & everyone is praying that the damage isnt as bad as we all fear..that she will awake smiling.
