Is it possible that boers are hardier if they are the larger breed,

All purebred boers are large breed goats- Our does are over 200 pounds and our bucks-about 300 pounds- We have gotten rid of all the goats that kept parasite problems- We used to worm every 30 days , but now every 4 months or so- as a "need to basis".
When we started out-we bought culls and didnt know it and lost most to worms-we bought from NC breeders- Im not saying anything bad about NC breeders, but it is hard to find a quality boer goat in NC -I paid $800 for a 3 month old buck from a very notable show winning breeder- He was pumping him with steroids-needless to say we werent and he died 3 weeks later. We buy our goats from Texas, Tennesee and all around us and they have been great-also have different bloodlines than around here- visit my site for more info on boers http://www.whiteoakboergoats.net
