Nigerian Dwarf still birth

So, she had triplets? I know nothing about goats but I can't believe that is normal. It might also explain why they were little and she went early. Definetly get her checked by a vet, poor thing! As a side note, as a triplet myself, I find this interesting but I do hope she will be ok!

Triplets are pretty normal for goats.

Multiples is actually more common than singles in Nigerian dwarf goats. Mine are all from six and seven baby births! It is quite amazing!

Even being triplets i imagine if she went full term they should be about 5 pounds at birth.

6 and 7 kid litters? That is AWESOME!!!!!! I have heard of 6 kids from a single kidding before, but never 7. I posted that they can have up to 5 per kidding, because your case truly does seem to be the exception.

Pics, pretty please?? Also, what line(s) of Dwarves are you running? Because I want some of these for myself, That's so cool! Do you experience kidding issues in your does at all?

Get her checked by a vet. You need to make sure that she has no more fetuses in her, that her uterus in intact, that she passed the afterbirth, that she isn't in septic shock, etc.
If you can get some, give her goat nutridrench. Did she bag up? Might have been an early abortion.

I'm also curious as to the outcome of this kidding. It's been awhile now though... any updates for us, OP?
