Nope my BR didn't have wattles like that until much later. But I'm still new to chix.

Who is that in pics 4-5? So pretty!

One Barred Rock cockerel for sure. Others, not so sure due to quality of photos. Clear, well focused head closeups would help. You have to take ten photos of a chicken to get one decent one. They don't hold still for photographing.

I'll get better pics when someone's home to hold them I'm sorry.

@peckpeckpeck I have no idea! Was with these straight run barred rocks. Some kind of mystery cross breed I guess. She is really frosty looking and pretty. At least I think that's a she. Acts really hennish anyway to me, as do all but one of the black ones.
Those are really funny actually, one is always in a low crawl and hides under things all the time. Dives under cement blocks then darts out to grab treats then blasts back under there. Lurks. Weird chick.

CHIKS should be fine at mid-40's if there cold they will huddle up but u can put a timer on ur lite for the coldest time of nite or put a heating pad [most are water proof & washable] in there coop for another week or so. thiere are heating panels that use only 50 watts also. this way no lite to bother them hope this is helpful. GBA

They aren't locked in the brooder right now and are loosely grouped, not piled for heat at all. So I might let them stay out in the coop tonight.

To those who so kindly offered to help, just uploaded better head shots in the sexing forum. Thanks.
