I had the red light on them for heat purposes when we moved them outside a week ago into a temp kennel (got too big for the make-shift brooder). But since I've put them in the tractor, our nights have been in the 60's so I haven't worried about it (we live in El Paso). AND..it only took two nights for them to learn to put themselves to bed! They're such smart babies!! <proud chicky momma!!>
