nine eggs in one day?!

I have two geese, do that's 4.5 eggs each in just one day, is this normal? I just figured that they woe lay once a day like chickens. The first time they put out eggs it was two each, then three each a week later. What's the norm?

Hi. Not sure Im reading your post correctly but geese normally lay every other day.

Geese can't lay more than one egg a day. They are good at "hiding" their eggs sometimes though. My guess is your girls just keep hiding their nest and you don't find it until is is getting full.
