That is, nine months after joining BYC. I still don't know much but I know a whole lot more than I did. I've read the material on the website here to great advantage, I've read several other articles and blogs online and I've read and made extensive notations in Raising Chickens For Dummies, Backyard Chickens for Beginners, and The Complete Idiot's Guide to Raising Chickens.

So I know a little more than I used to and have started a blog intended to be FROM a newbie and FOR newbies. Here is the URL

On Wordpress, my nickname is Eggwrangler rather than Balloonjuice. Don't let that confuse you. Balloonjuice was already taken.
