Nine week old silkies 😂

I have a few grow outs and I wanted to see what everyone else thought about the sex of these puffs. I have ideas, but I’d love some input. I put three pics of each, except the first chick who wouldn’t cooperate, so there’s only one of that one.
1) face pic of a blue
2-4) blue
5-7) splash
8-10) dark splash
11-13) blue
14-16) paint

Sorry, I can't help you, I'm in the same boat with my 3 Silkies. But I'll be watching this thread to see what other people say about your birds.

Dark splash looks like a cockerel. Not sure with the rest.

agree, the dark splash has a big comb for the age... but silkies are notoriously hard to sex. Often times you have to wait until their almost or at laying age to judge gender. Or spend the money to get their DNA checked and have them sexed that way.

Silkies are one of the hardest breeds to sex young. Your chances will be better at 4-5 mos. Sometimes you can't tell till they lay or crow.

You’re absolutely correct. I think the light splash is as well. The three blue are def pullets. Still questioning the paint. It’s the bossiest
