Nipple waterer for quail

I use nipple waterers with all of my quail...
Dang JJ I live in the tropics with you and I don't have a dripping prob with mine!

I was thinking of rigging up a drip cup underneath, to catch the falling droplets. It's already blistering hot in Miami, and the rabbit waterer doesn't even last a day. A lot of excess falls off. Oh, and I didn't know SC was the tropics... hmm

hahaaa. GO GATORS!

ahem, anyways. I haven't had time to fiddle with mine yet - probably next week. I was going to try a few methods and see which worked best.

I have had mine for two years never had a drip. I even put a birdbath heater in my bucket and use them all winter. Water always stays clean.

I use them without any issues, but I broke the bottom of the bucket so I need to make a new one, otherwise it works fine, it will make wet spots so i would not recommend it for indoor enclosure, I have my birds on dirt so I am not that concerned about it leaking. I've had my quail on the nipple drinkers since they hatched though, figured it out all on their own.
