nipple watering system

will hooking a water hose up to a nipple watering system cause too much pressure that the chicken can not push up the nipple? The only ones I have seen are gravity systems using a bucket.

Actually it will likely cause a lot of leaking since the system is only designed to work under a certain amount of pressure. (psi)

You might be able to use a flow limiting device similar to those used for drip irrigation to make it work as you are hoping.

it isn't about the chickens being able to push it.
