Nite Guard or Predator Guard?

I ordered 2 as well, in order to get free shipping. I also have coops spread around a large area so I wanted to cover more area. Just like game cams, while one is good, 10 are better.
If one uses them, it is important to constantly move them around, they are much more effective if the flashes appear in many different parts of the property and change nightly. The same flashes in exactly the same spot will quickly be ignored.

Thank you ChickenCanoe! I read that online....that you should move the "eyes " around the yard bc predators are very smart and will figure it out pretty quickly. I also read that you should start using the predator eye BEFORE moving chicks to the coop. ...so predators are discouraged from the beginning to stay away! I am going to do this.

I don't have a lot of faith in them but sure couldn't hurt to use them.
A neighbor got about 50 hens last spring. His only security was a four pack of those. Not sure which brand.
Before the end of summer he was out of chickens.

We have hardware cloth surrounding the coop and run. Also my husband will be installing padlocks this weekend.
