Niteguard- Flashing "eyes"... does it work?

I was reading a thread the other day and a member (sherylreno) suggested using Niteguard Solar for predator prevention. Does anyone have one or more of these niteguards? Does it work? How many do you have? I'm considering it, since we just recently lost a guard dog and we do not know when we will get another dog.

Hmmm...I don't know if it works or not but it seems like it would. I wouldn't want to be around that flashing and I'm a human! Now I'm thinking about getting one. It doesn't say on the site how much they cost, though...I'll be interested to see if anyone on here has tried one.

I just read an ad for solar night eyes and they have a website. It says they are $19.95.
Has anyone used these before?
