Gimpy is all wrapped up. I am hoping to get some straightening to her legs and get her to stand. Her other leg was twisting a bit because she was trying to stand on it, and wasnt able to. She is in a sling and seems to actually be much happier. I was holding her hurt leg in my hand, making it straight and it popped. It was then a bit straighter. It was starting to get a callous on the elbow but I think it was getting inflammed. I hope this helps her. She is so cute. Oh she is in with Mr. Foofy and I think she loves the company...

I have never seen a chick with such a funky leg and still be so healthy. Usually mine have faded after a while. As long as she fights I will

Just FYI for anyone else struggling with leg issues, after taping it I cut a sock to support her body and then had holes for her wings and legs and made sure her butt was free and clear. I then cut holes near her head and near her butt. I slid a flat curtain rod through the holes so she can move herself but be supported till she gets the idea. This works fab!! I can adjust the height by where I put it in the cage holes.
