There are several questions unanswered to our feeding posts...

Having taken a look, it appears your other posts are all just tagged into the bottom of existing threads - this can make it easy for your posts to be missed and it can be better to start a new thread, all of your own, to post direct questions you have as then those who are reading the forum will see it as a separate discussion, vs. it getting lost in the conversation already taking place in the other person's thread.

It appears there is really only one post where you ask a direct question regarding your flock:
I was wondering how much to give 3 week old chickens oatmeal? I made a batch of old fashioned oates mixed with a hard boild egg. I went to feed it to them but could not get a Small chunk ( its clumped together ) to feed them. I was afraid of them choking :( I know this may sound silly, but I am such a NOOBY!!

How many three week old birds are you feeding? What is the base diet you are using? You don't want any of the treats you offer them to make up more than 10% of their total daily intake of food (this is all treats in a given day, not 10% per treat) - and less is better as for a good, healthy, growing chick the best thing for them to eat is the nutritionally balanced base diet.

Thank you for your reply :) I will remember that next time when posting a question. I just got my chickens ( 3 ) and still have them inside under lamp. I am trying to bond with them. I feed them "purina flock raiser using a free form feeder. I was just hoping to provide a treat but was worried as to how much to give them in a bite size without giving too much...does that make sense?
