No chick starter

You might ask at the stores whether they have some in the warehouse... you never know. Also if you have a poultry club, some of the members may have some left over. Slightly stale is better than nothing. If you give them anything other than ground-up food, they’ll need chick grit or at least coarse sand.

An all flock, meatbird,or gamebird feed would IMO be much better choice than layer feed for young ones.
