Well lucky you! Green is a gorgeous egg color, and I really want green eggs!

And I really want blue eggs , I guess we’ll all just have to wait and see.

My 2 silkies lay different eggs.
Pippin- dark beige, not really oval, roundish, bigger than fries's eggs
She doesn't lay much because she's always broody!
Fries- white, small, elongated, sometimes with a "ripple" on the tip

Sorry about that bad-luck. You can try to buy adult PoL hens so you can guarantee coloured eggs. Hopefully Ms. Firefly is the hen who will give you coloured eggs

I'd rather not, Pol are much harder to get your hands on than chicks. Plus I've got Ms, Firefly coming, and 8 Ameraucanas in August. The Ameraucanas are garenteed blue eggs if female, and each have an 80% chance of being female, so highly unlikely all will be male.

POL can also bring diseases to an established flock. It’s not the same as getting chicks.
