As well as hens, I have roosters. They are all almost 41/2 months...these are the breeds of roosters:
1 Silver Sebright bantam
3 Barred Rocks
1 Speckled Susex
2 Dark Cornish

This about 1/2 of my oldest birds.
I have only one that crows so far and that is my bantam Peapicker.
Is it unusual for them to be this old and not be crowing???
Maybe they have heard me say that when they get old enough to crow that must be old enough to go in the freezer! (Except Peapicker is a permanent resident.
I have read so many times on here about how early some roos crow.
Thanks!

Are they all toghther? Maybe Peapicker is the dominant roo and the others are 'keeping the peace"?

Peapicker would like to be dominant but hasn't succeeded, yet. The ones that deal with him are the barred rocks. I am somewhat supprised that my 2 dark Cornish are the most agreeable and frequently butt in when the BR go after my younger chicks! They just don't seem to be interested in fighting thankfully!
