I have 3 Marans. One is 2y2m old. The other two are 1y8m old. They have all had beautiful chocolate colored eggs. I posted earlier on this thread about one (Doris) having laid a couple of dusky colored eggs. That seems to have worked itself out. 
Now I have one of the other two doing the same. I can’t figure out if it’s Bunny or Edna. None of them is having issues that I can see. No prolapse like has been suggested here. It’s also not the norm for any of them. What causes this then?
