No egg song?

Hey yall! Just wondering why my gals don’t sing the egg song? I have eight birds and most of them have started laying in the last few weeks. At first my RIR (she laid first) would sing/make a ruckus before and after she laid and now only does it very seldom after... my EE will only on occasion as well and only about a cluck or two. I don’t hear from the others at all... why do you think that is? I am so sad... :( I really wanted to hear some lovely chicken music as I don’t have a rooster.
Oh my gosh!!! LUCKY YOU. If I had a answer for you maybe that would mean I would know how to make mine be quiet!!!

Oops, I am very new to all this and of course I messed that up... laughing at MissChick and..... I meant to write this to FlockandFowl... That is cute.. I have never heard that before.. I heard of some reasons but not that one... I like that reason best:)

Mine never sing. Which is a situation I prefer. They are very obnoxious when they do. "CLUCK CLUCK CLUCK CLUCK"
They only do this when someone is in their nest or if they are feeling intruded upon in some way.
Oh yes, I have seen that happen on occasion ...... is that a Ragdoll in your profile pic? Mine is a Ragdoll:love and the love of my life!

I have some who sing and others who don't. Think I would prefer not singing...
So apparently this sounds pretty common... who knew. That is why I love this site... so I can learn everything there is to know about my gals... thanks!
