No Eggs In A Month.

Had to buy store bought eggs! My 7 silkie girls all free range, get layer and oyster shell, but no eggs. This has never happened in over 5 years. Geez!

I had the same problem last month...and they were all going through a molt or coming off a broody spell....

It's just nature and their bodies...that controls egg production...

Unfortunately we can only stand by and wait.

Only 1 is moulting. They free range but never laid eggs outside of the coop so I don't think they're "hiding" them somewhere on the property. I'm going to worm them this weekend, maybe something physically wrong. Just don't know.
