NO eggs yet and 6 1/2 months old

born april 1st and still none are laying. they are silver wyandottes how much longer can it take?

I had a Wyandotte hen who didn’t lay her first egg until around December. (She was around 9 months old.) it just depends. They might not start until spring, or until the days get longer. Just be patient!
