No eggs

i have a male,female pair of ducks but there are no eggs. They are past the age at which they start laying eggs but there are no eggs. They're not in a very good pen (there new one is on the way) they haven't had a "coop" until last night we finally gave them a makeshift coop/box type thing. Could that be why she hasn't laid any eggs yet? What can effect duck egg production. They are Pekin ducks.

How old?
Anything that creates stress, can delay or stop ovulation just like in all animals.
The makeshift stuff and changes in housing create stress.

Eggs can be stolen by various varmints, snakes, etc, especially if you don't have a very good pen.
