Chickens can not lay 2 eggs in 24 hours or at least regularly.

I had a Dom once that laid 2 eggs a day A LOT!

Reason I know is at the time I had her and a flock of WCBP and they laid little white eggs.

When I gave up my last flock the lady at my freedstore helped me place my birds and Aunt Susie went to live with her friend. She is still laying with almost no breaks and occassionally still lays 2 a day. It's given her a free ride for the rest of her life, since she's been so good to her and given her lots of eggs. She was a great broody too.
