No eggs

Hello,so a couple of weeks ago all of my hens suddenly stopped laying there eggs, i might add that there is a rooster in there but he has never affected them before,so i changed there diet alittle by letting them free range in a large grass pen if you can call that free ranging but nothing,oh and one of the hens is molting though. Ideas?:/

! Pleased you joined us! Not sure where Arlington is...VA? TX? If so your chickens shouldn't be molting this time of year - and shouldn't for several months. You might want to check them close for parasites which can also cause feather loss and alter egg production. Good luck to you!

The heat will affect egg production but my suspicions turn to the slithering variety when there are suddenly less eggs. Any chance you have a snake about?

No snake sighns at all i dought that would b it but that is an interesting concept abut the heat and it has been pretty hot this summer thank you,anyone else.?)
