Have 2 male cayuga little more than a year old. Bought a female cayuga in march how can I tell if she's an old duck. she laid one egg when we got her and nothing since. any help would be appreciated

Hello and Welcome To BYC! You might want to post in the Duck forum about your girl for ideas on why she is not laying https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/42/ducks moving to a new home / stress will often stop duck and chicken hens from laying for a period of time.

No I bought her from the same breeder I got my then ducklings from. She's fatter than my males. First time duck owner

I have no experience with ducks and only 2 years with chickens. But my largest, fattest hen was the less frequent layer. I also suggest you post the question in the ducks forum for more opines.
