Hi i got a pair of pigeons that have a 16day old baby and she laid a set og eggs and now she stoped feeding her baby please help why did she stop feeding it heres a pic

In most cases the ♂ takes over the feeding responsibilities when the ♀ is incubation another clutch of egg.
I would watch your squab and if it is not eating on it's own or being fed by the ♂ I would make feed and water available to it and hand feed it for a week or so until it is able to survive on it's own.

That dad must be messed up! My dad pigeons sometimes still feed their babies at day 50.

Some times there are just no explanations for some particular birds behavour. It is not a perfect world even by pigeon standards.

At this age the squab will only be fed 2 or 3 times a day by the father.... and not at all by the mother.

Maybe you are not around when the father feeds it?

You can tell if it has been fed by feeling its 'crop'... the area on its upper chest. You should be about to feel it like a soft lump. The best time to check is just after it gets dark.. as the father will feed the squab in the late afternoon.. early evening.. to make sure its got food for the night.

If you are still worried.. but a food and water cup in the nest area where the baby can reach it. It will see its mother and father eating from them and it will copy them and feed itself.

So long as its not getting skinny or looking sick I would not worry too much.

Thanks guys now both of the parents are now feeding it because when they laid eggs the didnt feed it the eggs got infertile and i through them and now she is happy
