No Food and water at night?

I have a 3.5 gallon waterer and a hanging 7# feeder in the coop (as well as a little chick feeder w/ grit).
And a 2 gallon waterer in the run. Treats are served in the run.

For 8 chickens (#9 free ranges outside the coop/run & has his own bachelor pad).

I would think so.
I don't put feed outside in run, only greens and treats. I don't want to feed every critter around very expensive chicken food. I have water only outside, to much mess. so food inside and water outside. they are outside at sunrise and roosting at sunset. no need for water inside.

I use a hanging feeder in the run as shown on my BYC page. No issues with rodents because of the feral cat problem.
