Hi ya'll. I wasn't sure where to post this but I always thought eggs came out with some slimy stuff that kept them fresh for a while. My girls make alot of noise and I was wondering if there shouldn't be slime or goo tho make things easier for her. Her eggs come out bone dry.
If they should not be dry is there anything I can feed her that will help??
Thanks again for saving our butts.

The eggs I've actually seen laid have a sheen to them that literally dries in moments, like blink and it's dry. So unless you see it come out dry, I'm thinking it's okay. Hens just make a lot of noise when they lay, that's normal.

Thank you for the reply.
I guess I worry too much.
