No, I didn't disappear (unfortunately) **PICS BINKA 4 WEEKS**

Hey!

Been busy.
Here are some updated pictures of Balbinka!!

She's a blue splash Sebastopol and will be 4 weeks old on the 20th!

This might be a stoopid question but.... what makes it a blue splash. Shes turned into a beauty hasnt she.

Well, that's my best guess and so far it's been proving true.
Not a stupid question! I'm still wondering myself.

She was born with lilac purple pigment on her beak, and lavender skin patches on her feet. Balbinka was darker at birth then her white sister, (now named) Pearl. Balbinka does not have a proper saddleback pattern. Her color pattern is broken up on her neck, face, back, wings, and tail in patches (making her a splash). I figure she is a blue splash because as a chick, she was nowhere near as dark as a gray saddleback;

I will try to keep Pearl out of the pool long enough tonight to get some photos....

aaaaah ok....I couldnt see her broken markings is all. My saddle back is a grey (Inka) and Junos feathers are coming in a lilac colour. Cant wait to see how the colour comes out when feathered out.

I'm still learning and like to compare gosling colors.

Added:

Interesting colors! I'm inclined to say that Juno is either white, lavender, or buff.
But she hatched out to be more colorful than any of those would... I can't wait to watch her and her siblings grow up!

Leap is white, Moon is grey, Inka is SB and Juno is not white, at the moment its a lilacy grey colour.
