No idea it would be so hard to find Ameraucanas

I'm a total greeny with what I hope isn't too naive of a question.

My friend and I have been wanting Ameraucanas for awhile now but can't seem to find a breeder in our area. We want a variety so the grand kids can tell who's who. Ok, me too lol Plus I like the look of a diverse brood. Are we hoping for the impossible? I seem to only find mixed Ameraucana eggs or chicks that can be shipped in large quantities. We're only wanting about 12. I think I'm search disabled
